Marisa Srijanpleang (b. 1993, Surin, Thailand)

"Marisa Srijunpleang works across photography, video, and installation. Growing up along the Thai–Cambodian border has shaped her long-term engagement with borders, family histories, and the lasting aftermath of war. Through field research and close collaboration with local communities, she traces how memory survives in oral histories, rituals, landscapes, found objects, and the movement of plants. Her recent work explores landscapes and living species as archives that carry histories of conflict, migration, and resilience across contested borderlands."
