Time (to) travel (2017)

This piece features an outdoor movie screen newly sewn from fertilizer bags, measuring 4.5 x 3 meters, created by local residents and my family. The process includes screening both old and contemporary films, aiming to attract people of different ages. It brings people back to the shared joy and collective experience of outdoor cinema. Villagers help set up the screen, prepare food, and arrange the viewing area. The project overlays meanings by bringing together those with and without prior experience of outdoor movies, providing a new experience for those who haven't seen such screenings before, while evoking nostalgia for those who have. It aims to transport everyone back to a time of happiness and relaxation.
