Wardrobe was wrapped (2016)

"Wardrobe Was Wrapped" (2016) uses materials commonly found in agricultural areas, specifically fertilizer bags, which are sewn together to cover an old wardrobe. This wardrobe, with its thin metal frame and fabric cover, is not very sturdy. Inside the wardrobe, a light is installed to symbolize hope.

I was inspired by the migration of rural people to work in the cities. This piece continues the theme of previous works, illustrating the encroachment, control, or entanglement with capital or the Thai state, highlighting the lack of freedom faced by the people. It reflects how individuals are compelled to live with these constraints in their daily lives.
